Magnetic plates are known for their strong adhesion to metal. Having a self-adhesive side as well as a magnetic side, magnetic dots and squares are mostly used to fix objects to metal surfaces. However, thanks to their self-adhesive back, adhesive magnetic squares and dots are also ideal for fixing objects to other surfaces such as ceramics, wood, metal or even plastic.

If pictures, pens, figures or tools are provided with the magnetic plates, they become magnets and adhere to metal invisibly due to the ferromagnetic properties of the self-adhesive magnetic dots and squares. Magnetic plates are therefore primarily used to give non-magnetic objects a hold on a metallic surface. They do not attract themselves and other magnets or magnetic tapes.
